Six ChatGPT prompts for your own photos: DSLR look, editorial light, golden hour, headshot, lighting fix, and clean background. Each one locks your face and changes one thing.
What you build
| Part | What it is | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Guardrail | A block you paste before every prompt | Locks your face, skin, and expression in place |
| Six prompts | One change per prompt | DSLR look, editorial light, golden hour, headshot, lighting fix, background |
| Check line | A short list of what a fake result looks like | Lets you catch a bad edit before you post it |
| Test photo | One clear, front-facing photo, unedited | Gives every prompt the same starting point |
Where this comes from
Public social posts with "edit my photo" prompts keep circulating, and the results often look fake because the prompt lets the model redraw the face. This pack rewrites six of them. Every prompt starts with the same guardrail block, which locks your face, skin, and expression, and then asks for one change. The original posts are not linked here. These prompts are rewritten, not copied.
What you build
Six prompts you can run on your own photo, and one habit: check the face before you post the result. The pack deliberately does not beautify, smooth skin, or change any feature. A retouching prompt is left out on purpose, because it is the one most likely to make a face look fake.
Do you need this? Be honest first
For people who want a cleaner version of their own photo for a profile, a listing, or a headshot. Close the tab if you want to change how you look, or if you need a retoucher's work for a client. Do not use the outputs to present someone else's photo as your own.
What you need
- A ChatGPT account with image editing. Check your plan's current image limits.
- One clear, front-facing photo, unedited.
- About 20 minutes, including a test run.

What was verified and what was not
The prompts were written from common image-editing patterns and reviewed by reading. They were not run as a set on a live ChatGPT account for this version. Results change with the model version and the photo, so run each prompt on a test photo before you use it on anything that matters.
Read the prompt before you run it
Hand each prompt to ChatGPT and ask it what it will change. If the answer names more than the one change in the prompt, stop and run it again with the guardrail.
